Use this Lifestyle Cleanse™ recipe as a gluten- & grain-free way to satisfy your pasta cravings!
1 spaghetti squash
2 garlic cloves, minced
¼ teaspoon of sea salt
2 cups of chopped veggies of choice (mushrooms, zucchini, peppers, onion, asparagus, broccoli)
1 cup low sodium marinara sauce
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut squash in half and scoop out the seeds. Place the squash (cut side down) on a nonstick baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes or until squash becomes tender. Using a fork, separate the pulp from the squash (it will come off in strands) and place in a bowl. Sauté all veggies in a pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil or ghee, adding in garlic for the last minute of cooking. Top “spaghetti” with sea salt, veggies, and warmed marinara sauce.
Tip: You can also add ground turkey meat to the sauce for added protein.
