Although I’m known for my outgoing, bubbly personality, I’ve never been one to jump in front of a video camera. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love a good photo op, but video is a whole different story. However, I was so excited for the opportunity that I quickly said yes and later thought…what the heck have I signed myself up for!? Nonetheless, I followed through on my obligation, without the luxury of a hair and makeup team and actually filmed a 12-video series. Low and behold it didn’t kill me, and it actually ended up being a lot of fun! So I’m going to share one of my favorite videos today: how to make a healthy snack with cucumber and hummus.

FYI – assigns the topics that get filmed. So even though I didn’t have much choice about what to prepare, I was able to add my own healthy twist to the recipes by eliminating processed sugar, giving gluten and dairy-free options, and using organic ingredients whenever possible. For those of you who are just getting to know me, I’m pretty much gluten and dairy-free. So if anyone is interested in a “paleo” lifestyle, you’ve come to the right place. 😉
